Wokeness and White Culture: What’s Pluto got to do with it?
America was said to be built on freedom, but it was built on division — the same division that plagues us today. The biggest tool the elite ever created was the invention of whiteness as a culture. It kept the working class fighting amongst themselves, instead of uniting against the real oppressors: the ones hoarding wealth and power.
We are watching this same tactic play out in real time. It is not subtle anymore — it is blatant. So let’s go all the way back to the beginning and talk about how we got here and where we go next.
Let’s educate ourselves and each other. Pluto in Aquarius marks a return of power to the people — but power is never given. It must be taken. And if you think this shift will happen without resistance, you’re mistaken.
They will fight harder than ever to keep us divided — by race, by gender, by class. But Pluto exposes the truth, and in Aquarius, that truth is this: the wealthy and powerful do not care about any of us. They will weaponize identity against us while laughing behind closed doors, knowing the divide keeps them safe.
You have to choose your own side. And I promise you — right or left, blue or red — that game is designed to keep you stuck.
So ask yourself: Will you stand for true freedom? Or will you be used as a pawn to protect the powerful? Because that is the question of our time.
There Is No More Middle Ground
No matter what side you claim — left, right, or somewhere in the middle — this is for you. The middle does not exist anymore. The Overton Window has shifted so far right that when we’re honest, the line between moderate and extreme is barely there.
Let me be clear about my motivation: I care about facts. I care about integrity. I cannot stay silent while people I love, and strangers I would love if I knew them, are losing their rights. While I’m losing mine.
Because if we aren’t all free, none of us are free.
The Patriarchy Was Never About Protecting Men — It Was About Controlling Women
And it was about using poor white men to help them do it.
This dynamic has created an epidemic of loneliness in men. And rather than help, the elite feed them propaganda, brainwashing them to do their bidding while offering them nothing in return but someone to blame, who has less power and impact than they do.
Men are emotionally stunted because they’ve been conditioned to believe that feeling is weakness. Women have been taught to center men’s needs, which breeds insecurity. And men have been taught to center other men, which leaves them disconnected from the relationships that could actually save them. So what happens now?
- The emotional bond between men and women weakens.
- Relationships fall apart. Women feel unwanted, and men feel unworthy, because they’ve been denied the tools for emotional safety.
- Men, unable to process their pain, turn violent or suicidal.
These are the incels who shoot up schools. These are the so-called “alpha males” isolating men even further. And these are the men dying by suicide at record rates — because they have no safe place to land.
And instead of fixing this, conservatives double down.
- They tell men to isolate further.
- They tell them to reject caregiving.
- They tell them emotional connection is weakness.
So what do you think happens?
We are heading toward an even bigger crisis. And instead of recognizing it, they are banning divorce. Rolling back women’s rights. Forcing families to stay together by law. As if legislation can force love into something that has been systemically stripped away.
The Nuclear Family Was Invented to Remove Our Tribe
The “traditional family unit” is a lie. It was manufactured to separate us from our natural, communal way of life.
Because if we were allowed to support each other, we might grow too powerful and fight back. There are so many more of us.
This Is Not Fiction — It Is Happening Right Now
People laugh at the 4B movement. They mock The Handmaid’s Tale as dystopian fiction. But tell me — how far off are we when you read Project 2025 and realize the man behind it was just put in charge of our government?
The same people who claim to want small government want to tell you:
- Who you have to stay married to.
- What you can do with your body.
- How you can live your life.
- Remove your freedom to choose who you are.
How is it that the government has the right to control me, but not the obligation to give me healthcare? How is that freedom?
The only difference between fiction and reality is that reality doesn’t come with a warning. And by the time you realize what’s happening, it will already be too late.
Wake Up: Whiteness Is Not a Culture
If this system isn’t working for you, ask yourself — who benefits?
Not you.
Not me.
Not the working class.
Not the struggling families.
Not the single parents.
Not the trans community.
Only those at the top — watching you eagerly fight their battles for them.
And while you argue over grocery bills and who should “wear the pants” in the relationship, they pocket record-breaking profits while you struggle to just barely survive. Your hate is aimed at the wrong people!
They tell you women shouldn’t work, not because they care about the nuclear family, but because it saves them money.
- No childcare expenses.
- No Head Start funding.
- No paid parental leave.
And they tell you only white men are competent, not because of merit, but because if poor white men ever realized they had more in common with their black, trans, or immigrant neighbor, than with billionaires, the game would be over.
This Is Not About Hating White Men
I love many white men. But I will not stand by while they are used as pawns and weapons — against the rest of us, and ultimately against themselves.
I know men who lean conservative. I know men who don’t agree with what they see happening. And I will not remove them from my life because division is exactly what they want.
We must unite against the real enemy. And it is not each other. There are some people I love who are too far down the rabbit hole, and those people I have removed from my life. I will not mingle with fascists and racists.
As a woman I am ready to tap into that deep, dark, sacred rage and protect myself and my people. Mars is in retrograde in Cancer. Make sure you’re protecting the right people. Make sure you’re on the right side of history.
Fox News recently did a segment where they stated a man grocery shopping with his wife means he a feminine failure. What about single men? Are they supposed to pay some woman to shop for them?
It’s crazy how the worst thing you can be to most men is a woman, especially if you’re a woman of color. But I digress.
I see it play out in everyday life. In one of the clinics I’m in there is a black woman I really enjoy speaking with. And when she isn’t around other coworkers paint her as the occassonal “angry, black woman”.
Little do they know I am privy to a story of racism that brought her to the current clinic she’s in. And I’m sorry, but women of color are the most oppressed people. They have to work ten times harder to prove themselves.
I’d be angry, too!
So instead of judging valid feelings to extreme oppression how about we validate them? How about we offer all woman a safe space to feel and be seen and accepted? How about we offer all people that space?
Divide and conquer has always been their strategy. Let’s make sure it fails.
Let’s talk art, history, and astrology…
First, I have to touch on Kendrick Lamar’s recent Superbowl performance. He interviewed days prior and said he would be telling us a story. And that performance proves why he was worthy of winning the Pulitzer Prize. I have watched it so many times, and dove into the layers of meaning within.
His stage decision was perfection. A playstation controller that showed you it’s all a game to them. He was telling the story of America, where marginalized communities have had to navigate systemic challenges, and follow societal expections.
Using Samuel L Jackson as Uncle Sam was such a genius move. And he was serving as the go-between for the black man and America. Uncle Sam was the authoritative voice of America, who historically told black people to perform and shutup.
And in a way this was another jab at Drake. Because Drake had once told him he had to watch what he says in his raps. Tried to limit his creative genius and storytelling. A black man doing the white man’s bidding.
The 40 acres and a mule is a broken promise made to black people. It was the unfulfilled promise made to freed slaves that they would be given a start. That economic freedom could be theirs, too. It was the ultimate, systemic betrayal. And had huge significance to the story.
The dancers dressed in red, white, and blue. Him in the middle, showing a country divided. It can be true that America represents an ideal of freedom, and that it has never quite lived up to it. And if you love this country you should want it to live up to its ideals.
Even the “Say, Drake” portion of the song is explaining industry plants. How Drake and others have sold their soul and agreed to silence. He looked directly at the camera to make the point.
To further insult Drake, he had two of his ex’s perform on the stage. Serena Williams was torn apart for performing that dance on the tennis court years ago. So to see her celebrated now is amazing. Crip walking was invented by a disabled black man. There is zero reason to not honor it.
Let me reitterate here, white is not a culture. Even country music was invented by black people. It’s so frustrating to be someone who honestly cares that your beliefs are facts and help you stand in integrity. Someone who has spent the time and resources to educate yourself.
And people with “gut” feelings say you’re wrong. People mad that Beyonce won country music awards. The banjo, the blues, the fiddle, all of it invented by black people!
The performance contained veiled critiques of political figures, with lines like “the revolution ‘bout to be televised, you picked the right time but the wrong guy,” interpreted as commentary on leadership and societal change. Given the political climate and the presence of Trump at the event, these lines resonated deeply with the issues of today.
Now some history on “whiteness”
The first recorded instance of the elite using whiteness as a form of social bonding with poor Europeans occurred in the late 17th century, specifically in 1676, during Bacon’s Rebellion in the Virginia Colony. This was a turning point where race was weaponized to divide poor whites and enslaved black people, preventing them from uniting against the ruling class.
Bacon’s rebellion was led by Nathaniel Bacon, who got indentured european servants, and enslaved black people, and freed Africans to join forces against the elite plantation owners. It was not initially about race, but more so class struggles.
Because poor white and black people were workers being exploited to varying degrees by the ruling elite class. Of course, this panicked the elite and they had to figure out a way to keep us from uniting against them. So they invented racial division to maintain control.
After this, the Virginia elite passed laws defining “whiteness” and gave poor europeans privileges they denied to black people, even free black people. They convinced the europeans they were superior, and used them as a buffer beteween themselves and another potential uprising.
It was during this time the first race-based oppresson was formalized into laws that would benefit the rich. Prior to this racial categories were more fluid. Whether you were a poor white indentured servant, or a black slave, you were treated like trash by the elite.
The concept of “whiteness” as an identity separate from other oppressed groups was invented to maintain power. There is zero merit you get for being born white. You had zero control over that.
So where was Pluto when this started? In Taurus, the sixth house of America’s chart. The chart of the workforce. Exposing the secrets that people were being exploited for resources they would never be allowed to own themselves.
Consider that Taurus represents wealth, material stability, land ownership, and resources. Pluto exposes and transforms power dynamics related to those themes. So we saw a deep shift in economic systems, enslaved labor replaced indentured servitude. Land ownership was central to status.
And they consolidated their wealth and power.
By using whiteness as a social tool, the elite in Virginia ensured that poor white people would align with them instead of with the black slaves in rebellion against them. Control through division and restructuring.
Now shortly after America was founded as a country, Pluto was in Aquarius. This was from 1777–1798. We saw the American and French Revolutions. Upheaval from monarchies and a fight for real democracy. We had the Haitian Revolution, the first successful slave revolt leading to an independent, black republic.
We saw early sparks of the industrial revolution, which was bringing massive economic shifts and exploitation. Every one of these things was about power shifting hands. But every time the working class or marginalized groups gained ground, the elite found new ways to restructure oppression.
And that’s what we are seeing now, with Pluto back in Aquarius.
“You may be poor, but at least you’re not them.” is the same message now.
This divide-and-conquer strategy has been recycled through history. Now, instead of poor whites vs. enslaved people, we see working-class men vs. women, immigrants, LGBTQ+ people, etc. The real oppressor — wealthy elites — stay untouched while everyone else fights amongst themselves.
So let’s talk about the parallels to Donald Trump and Pluto being back in Aquarius. In case you missed it, Liz and I did an entire episode on Pluto, from when it was in our Sagittarius 1st house, to it’s glide through our Capricorn 2nd house, and our Pluto return. To where we are today.
So in the last transit of Pluto through Aquarius we were fighting off monichary and elite rule. At the same time, powerful figures were manipulating fear to maintain the status quo. That’s what Trump is doing now. If you want an excellent breakdown check out Lunatic Astrology.
Trump positions himself as a revolutionary, while being the elite. He uses fear-mongering to create division by race, gender, and woke culture. He pushes authoritarian tactics, while pretending to be anti-establishment.
Just like in the 1700s, people are rising up — demanding equality, economic justice, and freedom from oppressive systems. And just like last time, the elite is fighting back with propaganda, distraction, and division.
When Pluto was in Taurus and whiteness became the weapon of choice used to consolidate economic power and divide the working class. Now the elite are losing control as Pluto has reached Aquarius. We are seeing mass uprisings to protest what is happening.
Go to YouTube and type in Macklemore, Fucked Up. I’m here for it!
The same things that were consolidated under Pluto in Taurus are now unraveling with Pluto in Aquarius. The very tools of division used for centuries are being exposed and challenged in real time. It’s a full-circle moment, that makes perfect sense.
Our lives are not a game. We don’t have to be their pawns.
So, occupy the elite, black lives matter, stop terrifying my immigrant neighbors, and my transgender child, and free Palestine and Sudan!
