A complete Venus cycle takes 8 years. Every 8 years Venus returns to the same place she started around the same date. The pattern she makes forms a five sided figure they call the petals of Venus. Each relative position of the Earth, Venus, and the Sun occurs five times, and then repeats five more times identically within the 8 year cycle.

One of the reasons I call my business The Unfolding Lotus is because it’s my favorite flower. Three years ago I was given a vision during meditation. I saw this women tracing the edge of a huge lotus flower fountain, as if in peaceful contemplation. I’ve been drawn to it ever since.

It was this symbolization for me, looking back on my life. Looking at the murky, swampy, nasty mud and muck I grew my way through. I grew beautiful and bloomed in spite of the odds being stacked against me. Today I’m just writing what is on my heart. If it’s meant for you, you will know it’s time for you to grow beautiful and bloom, too.

Every year Venus begins a cycle with her inferior conjunction to the Sun. Her last cycle began in Gemini on June 4, 2022 when the Sun formed a conjunction to a retrograde Venus. She shifts during this time from an evening star to a morning star. She announces a rebirth.

Our relationships, how we view money, how we view aesthetic and pleasure is all subject to change and shift during a Venus cycle. Currently Venus has been flirting around with Mars a lot, and so far things may have been going good. But, she is approaching Saturn and enclosed between him and Mars now.

Do you want to commit or not? Whether this is a person, a place, a thing, a job, whatever it is you’ve been toying with and flirting with it’s time to figure out how to stop making excuses, living in fear, and just go for it now. That’s what this Full Moon in Virgo is about.

I did an entire video for this coming week and released it early. Most weeks this Week in the Stars is every Sunday, but due to the current energy I wanted to talk about this Full Moon today. You can find that below.
