The Bigger Picture: the Global Collapse of Narcissism

You cannot reason someone out of a state, belief, or mindset they didn’t reason themselves into. And, it’s not your job to. No appeal to their empathy will matter because they don’t have any. All they care about is how they appear to the others, and will crush you to fit their image.
Stop wasting your breath. The system has no conscience. And if you keep playing by its rules, it will devour you.
I’m here to remind the empaths and cycle breakers:

👉 Your energy is sacred. Your clarity is liberation.
It’s not hard to see the collapse of systems all over the world. We are watching the narcissistic bottom feeders fight for their last bit of control.
And they are pulling out all the stops.
If you are someone with empathy you’re looking at what is taking place and you’re sobbing. Your heart hurts. You want so badly to have the power to fix it all, but you’re one person. Resources are probably limited. But the ache to save people from certain death and terror is real.
That being said, the best thing you can do to help is walk your path. It’s in healing, growing, and evolving as a person. This has ripple effects to the people around us. Not all of them will grow with us. We may have to leave some behind, but you’ll start attracting those meant to find you.
And as more of us as individuals take responsibility for our healing, the collective automatically improves. We get so focused on stopping the harm now that we don’t do anything. What if you were to switch your focus to what you can do to contribute to the building we have to do after this over? you would get much further.
We aren’t going to stop this collapse.
Pluto in Capricorn exposed the shadow of a capitalist system. In Aquarius, Pluto is letting us know that it’s in individuals facing their own shadow that we actually make progress and create new systems. We have to face the difficult, tragic insanity we see happening, and we have to understand that unless we are willing to change, the world won’t change.
This is the collapse of top-down systems. Collective power rising. The end of control-through-image. We are no longer performing.
The shadow of Leo, the sign opposite Aquarius, is performance. It’s being a pick me who uses the warmth of others to seek a pedestal and praise. It’s Donald Trump, a Leo rising with Mars on the ascendant, and a ruling Gemini Sun in the 11th house.
He cares very much about his ego. He just wants to be thanked and praised. He lied outright about sending Palestine $60 million. He didn’t tell you he sent only half that, and it was to a fake CIA opp group that isn’t feeding Palestine. And he then he said “And nobody even thanked me”.
We are done letting people get praised for doing the least. They joke about participation trophies, while complaining they didn’t get one for not even participating.
Uranus entered Taurus in 2028, liberating us from hustle culture. Showing us that we could actually build entire businesses that run themselves, and live more luxurious than ever. It exposed the myth of scarcity, and the false promise of capitalism that if you work hard enough you’ll succeed.
It freed us from the idea that trickle down economics was a real idea with real merit. Because it never was and will never be. People like Trump, Elon Musk, Jeff Bezos, they are protested everywhere. This idea that we must pull ourselves by the bootstraps, while they take our tax dollars to fund their hobbies has been exposed for what is.
Martin Luther King saw this years ago. When he told us that America has socialism for the rich, and rugged individualism for the poor. And we can see this changing through Saturn and Neptune currently transiting in Aries, and set to conjunct exactly next February.
Neptune is the illusion, the dream, the ideal. Saturn restricts, demands accountability, and is the boundary between two things. In this case, it’s rugged individualism versus real sovereignty. There is a difference.
And with Chiron also in Aries right now, about to Rx tomorrow, this is about your destiny. A reckoning with wounds around inherited identities you’re done trying to fit into. We won’t be invisible, erased, or exploited.
With Saturn and Neptune in Aries this gives our intuition, our ideal, our dreams some structure. They are currently Rx and will renter Pisces before moving back into Aries for good.
You don’t ask to be born in a certain country. You don’t ask to be born a specific color. You just are.
And wherever that is, you thrive or you don’t.
And now, in America, people are realizing thriving was never the case for most of us here, either. And some people born here think by nature of that they are entitled to something the rest of the world isn’t, and I hate American Exceptionalism because it’s never been the case for most Americans. That’s the real truth.
And now, because Trump and the other evil doers have successfully tainted white men and their stupid pick me wives to hate the rest of us, all programs are getting cut. The programs already don’t stretch far enough, and now they’re going to be taken away.
But Elon and Bezos get plenty of taxpayer money, even though they’re billionaires. MLK said we have rugged individualism for the poor and socialism for the rich. He was right then, and it’s only gotten worse.
You’re not broken. The system is.
You are trying to hold your family together with scraps while billionaires hoard taxpayer money and politicians spit on the people they swore to serve. You didn’t fail — the structure was never designed for you to succeed unless you conformed, bled out, or sold your soul.
And now, Saturn and Neptune in Aries are handing everyone the mirror.
Saturn says: “Show me your scaffolding. Show me what you’ve built and who it hurts.” Neptune whispers: “And now let me melt the illusion you built it on.” In Aries, that’s identity. Power. The right to exist.
They’re dissolving the American Dream myth that told us if we just worked harder, stayed in line, kept our heads down — we’d be okay.
But we’re not okay.
And Chiron in Aries is screaming at the wound in real time: “I never asked to be born under a boot. I never asked to perform worthiness for scraps. And I’m not doing it anymore.”
This is the unraveling of that brutalized self-reliance we’ve been forced into. Where asking for help makes you weak and struggling is a character flaw. Meanwhile, billionaires are propped up by public money, public labor, and public silence.
Our way out is through Pluto in Aquarius and Uranus in Gemini, who will later Rx back into Taurus. It’s through community building, revolution, individuals bettering themselves to benefit the whole. It is through owning your gifts and talents and putting yourself out there authentically.
It’s through liberating yourself from the daily grind and hustle, in favor or building the framework to sustain you from ease and flow. What you are currently seeing all over the world, collectively, and likely in your individual lives, is the collapse of narcissism.
This is because in most cases they are facing the sudden loss of most of the supply sources they’ve counted on for decades. Trump’s approval has plummeted and so has the Democrats’ approval. This is because we see the truth that choice has always been the illusion.
Red pill or blue? Neither, thanks.
Saturn in Aries (Conservatives who espouse that you pull yourself up by the bootstraps, but keep voting more socialism for billionaires). Neptune in Aries (Democrats who allow it. Who give you the illusion they care and want to protect you). Both are Rx and both are seen for what they are.
The mask is shattered. Many of these people are likely to have public breakdowns. Everyone of us struggles to face ourselves, but imagine a narcissist being forced to look at the harm they’ve caused. If nothing else it will be death by embarrassment because the world is laughing.
Why do you think Trump deployed our military to LA for protests? It wasn’t to protect you. It was because every time masses of people rise against him he realizes he is losing control over the illusion he sells.
A narcissistic collapse is about the loss of external validation and a threatened self-image in someone with narcissistic traits. So pay attention because you’re already seeing it everywhere. And I told you months ago that Saturn and Neptune in Pisces were about dissolving the illusions, and discovering the difference between empathy and enabling.
Because I don’t know about you, but I was taught enabling as love. That when you love someone you let them do the worst to you, and you tolerate it to prove your love. That isn’t empathy at all.
I grew up to marry a man who abused me and my children. I was groomed to protect him from himself. Told to be a good girl. To make him feel big. To clean up all his messes. To make his excuses for him. That my safety, and the safety of children, didn’t matter as much as his suffering.
And so, I taught my children those things. And for the past two decades I’ve been intentionally, imperfectly, unlearning those things. The whole world is unlearning it together. Proximity will never equal power or presence.
So many of us are decentering narcissists in our lives. No longer willing to be their clean up crew and alibi. We don’t need to shame ourselves for the years we lost to covering up for them.
Get rid of moral frameworks.
That’s also part of Neptune and Saturn moving back into Pisces. When Neptune entered Pisces in 2011 we saw mass people leaving religion. The illusion shattered. All sort of moral frameworks made themselves known.
But, it also means we have to admit that we were ignorantly complicit. I never sat and intentionally thought “I want to teach my children how to protect abusers”.
I did that because it’s what my mom taught me, and hers taught her the same thing. That’s how cycles and patterns work. You don’t usually realize you’re even in them. Until one day something shifts and you look around. You realize maybe it doesn’t have to be like this.
More people than ever are healing, but many still refuse. Shame is incredibly hard to integrate, but it’s not our job to save the lost causes.
We are not martyrs anymore.
Chiron in Aries is the wound related to destiny and spark. But, we often approach Aries energy from the shadow of hyper independence and haste. The wound is “I’m not good enough to fulfill my purpose”.
The truth is only you can, and believing you have one isn’t what narcissism is made of. There is a difference in truly believing you have a purpose and walking in confidence toward it, and making everything you do about performing for praise and admiration because you wither without external validation.
Instead, it’s time to forgive ourselves for not knowing better, and be proud of ourselves that we learned. It’s about understanding the spark is to fill you with desire and motivation, but not for you to act on immediately and burn out trying to bring it to life. It’s about sovereignty.
Saturn and Neptune in Aries is also about building the structure to house your dreams. And no, the Universe doesn’t care what you will use your money for if you manifest it. It only cares that you believe you deserve it. So, no need to plead your case using the good causes you plan to support.
The Universe isn’t moral.
And let’s talk about the opposite of Aquarius, Leo. Where we had Venus Rx in 2023, Mars Rx in 2024, and Mercury currently in Rx, about to go through a Cazimi with the Sun tomorrow. And what it means when we know that the Sun just went through his opposition to Pluto.
All of this energy is demanding authenticity. Wherever lies are they will be exposed. Whether that’s in governments or your relationships. Leo energy on the evolved side is very loving, warm, generous, and heart-centered. It’s childlike and creative. It’s like a steady roaring fire.
But, on the shadow side Leo performs for crumbs. It’s an energy that is sent here to learn how to love itself. And so, as it works through the shadow, it can come across very self-centered, very pick me, very over the top. It has to figure out what self love isn’t in order to understand what it is.
In December 2024, Mars went Rx at 6 Leo and traveled all the way back to 17 Cancer before he stationed direct. In 2023, Venus was chasing Mars through Leo, when suddenly she decided to be done performing. And then Mars later went Rx in the same sign, after they met at 6 Aquarius in 2024.
So, Venus, the side of us that represents beauty, value, and self-worth, decided you don’t find that by chasing it and performing for it. She retreated into self-love and self-respect. Later she meets up with Mars in Aquarius, to discuss love as a freedom concept.
Meaning, codependence is dying.
So how we love and how we go after what we love, now more than ever, has to be rooted in authenticity and integrity. And currently Mercury is Rx in Leo as I type this. So, now our minds are getting on board. Even “branding” is a performance. So much is going to change.
Tomorrow Venus moves into Cancer, and I promise more than ever you’re going to see it. Jupiter is already there. The shadow of Cancer is emotional manipulation and blackmail. We don’t survive this loving and lighting our way through it, pretending it doesn’t exist.
That’s bypassing.
And so, any relationship, with governments or other people, are prone to collapse. And, this is because Jupiter and Venus together are amplifying the manipulation, yes, but they are both benefics.
If you’re not manipulating this is an evolution in your emotional intelligence. Even if you are manipulated and something comes out, that’s a benefit for you. It’s going to hurt, you may grieve, let yourself. But ultimately, it’s freeing you from more wasted investment.
Venus rules our self-worth, values, and beauty. In Cancer, it does it through the perspective of emotional safety. Anyone you’re not safe with has to go. Do they value you or are they using you for supply?
It may not be that someone manipulates you in a new way, but more that you’re seeing it far more clearly now than ever before.
Of course, Neptune Rx in Aries is saying look at all this truth beneath the fog. This is the articles coming out about the birthday cards Trump sent Epstein, and their long and friendly relationship. All while he is saying the Democrats framed him. Of course, if that were true, the Democrats would have released the files for that to do any good, and they didn’t.
And Saturn being Rx in Aries is letting us know that those who have been unaccountable will no longer be left unchecked. So, Venus entering Cancer is letting you know that still voice inside was right all along. And, that you can trust yourself and what is unfolding for YOU.
You don’t have to stop posting and caring about genocide and human rights. In fact, you should bring awareness to the shadow, so that we can shine our light on it. But, you have to do so within your capacity.
This is why nervous system safety is so important. On the days you know your nervous system can take it speak out. On the days it can’t, don’t. But, don’t make it your life’s mission to inform the world. Information isn’t anything without action. And the best action is to monetize yourself.
You are allowed to thrive while being aware. You are allowed to build while the world burns. You don’t have to burn with it to prove you care. In fact, if you build you inspires others to build. And we need builders right now.

The Sun opposing Pluto is not shy about letting us know what needs to transform. And with Mercury Rx in Leo, going to station so close to opposition to Pluto, this is about revealing the ruptures. There will be no more pretending you don’t see what is there.
Go follow the Chasing Chiron account on TikTok. He’s fantastic, honestly. He speaks to the Mercury Rx as revealing the rupture. We are watching ourselves outgrow relationships and dynamics that have held us back for years. We are no longer silencing ourselves to keep things going.
Right now the North Node is in Pisces and the South Node in Virgo. This is the dissolving of our addiction to perfection, even as appearance. We are replacing it with wholeness, softness, and surrender, but from a place of sovereignty and what feels authentic and true for us.
Narcissists thrive in outdated systems:
🚩 Systems where control is confused for strength
🚩 Where visibility is mistaken for virtue
🚩 Where extraction is rewarded, and connection is shamed
But those systems are crumbling. And that collapse?
It’s not your fault — it’s your freedom.
You may be feeling:
- Emotional overwhelm or rage resurfacing
- Old relational dynamics breaking down
- A need to pull away from performance and just rest
- An urge to speak your truth, even if it shakes your voice
This is all part of the shift. You’re not too much. You’re finally in tune.
And I know the ending of things you once relied on, at least in theory, can be difficult. But, let AI take over the physical jobs we hate. Let capitalism run on AI, so that the people can still have options, but also not struggle.
