Soul Purpose of a Pisces Rising

I am going to do a series on each Rising or Ascendant Sign and the soul purpose of that sign. Your Rising Sign is your soul, and it’s what you’re meant to evolve into this lifetime. The rest of your chart can tell us more about how you’re meant to evolve it, the challenges and triumphs you may face along the way, but as a general rule the mission itself is the same.

I’ve already done Leo, Scorpio, and Cancer Rising. This one is for Pisces Rising and their mission in this lifetime. If you’re a Pisces Ascendant you’re more comfortable living out your Virgo Descendant in the 7th house. So, you’re meant in this lifetime to draw people to you that help heal and nurture you, but instead you spend most your life trying nurture and heal others.

Because you have Aries in the second house you value sticking up for yourself, being confrontational if you need to, and maintaining your individuality, but in this life you’re meant to value working in teams, building friendships, and gathering with like-minded people to work on like-minded causes.

You have Aquarius in the 12th house of the subconscious, though, and this makes building those relationships, working in teams and groups difficult to say the least. Your mission is to learn how to do this successfully. You have Taurus in the third house, so community is incredibly important for you.

In this lifetime you’re meant to learn how to receive the same compassion you offer to others. Another reason this is difficult is because you have Capricorn in the 11th house of friendships and groups. Wherever Capricorn is we experience delays and lessons said to be karmic. This makes establishing friendships and fitting in with groups extremely hard for you.

Where Sagittarius is in our chart is what we’re meant to learn or how we learn most. For you that is the tenth house. Both your first and tenth houses are ruled by Jupiter, so you are meant to be known as someone who teaches, mentors, heals, expands, and councils others.

However, there is a need to learn healthy boundaries. With that Virgo in the 7th house you tend to sacrifice yourself for your partners. You need a partner who understands you already sacrifice for everybody else, and so they must be able to heal and nurture you. Someone who gives as much as they take.

With Libra in the 8th house it’s likely you have experienced one or more abusive or traumatic relationships. Because Scorpio is in the ninth house this relationship could have been through a religious community, a teacher at school, or some type of authority figure.

You will learn your mission from these transformative encounters you experience with partners, friends, and groups you’re involved in. You feel so deeply that it won’t be easy, but you have to learn how to heal humanity without sacrificing your own needs and who you are.

Some people believe that Pisces are a feminine watery sign. Well, it is, but you’re learning to become this sign, so there is a need for you to heal the masculine side of yourself that believes vulnerability is weakness, or that emotions make you weak. You develop your compassion, your healing energy, your feminine side over time and with intention.

See, you embrace others when they are vulnerable, when they share their emotions, when they display the softer, more feminine side of themselves. However, you feel as if you’re not allowed to do the same. Part of your mission is finding a partner and friendships who allow you space to do what you do for everyone else.

You are the sacred heart, dear Pisces Rising. Associated with escapism, suffering, and everything illusory. You’re alluring, mysterious, and often contradicting. It is your illusion that causes your suffering. Your mission is to learn this, so you can remove the veil for the rest of humanity.

You have already journeyed through all the other signs. You are prepared for this now. You are the most sensitive sign of us all. You are associated with oceanic consciousness and the closet to the universal consciousness. I said in the Cancer Rising post that the bravest thing they do some days is get out of bed. That goes triple for you.

You have this deep sensitivity that makes you acutely aware of the suffering of others. It’s incredibly easy and understandable when you become overwhelmed by it. This is why your sign is associated with escapism. None of us could handle the amazing depths that you experience any easier.

Water signs are about mastering emotions, so that is part of your mission in this life. This is especially important for Pisces out of all the water signs. You must learn to understand the connection between the heart and the mind. The mind creates and projects illusions and the heart sees through them.

The mind separates us, while the heart understands we are all one. It’s only when we cave to that separateness and the illusion of it that we generate unnecessary suffering. This is why you are represented by two fish. Your mind swims the shallow waters, never wanting to question anything. Simply accepting it all at face value.

Your heart wants to dive deep, question it all, and find a spiritual and higher purpose for it. We never really leave our heart center. We simply forget about it at times. The separation is the illusion. It’s your job to remember to live from your heart, to take nothing personal, and to realize through your own experience the oneness that exists.

When you spend time each day remembering your true nature, it helps you release the illusion, and hear our collective heartbeat, believing we will prevail. Humanity needs you to teach this, and you need a partner who understands the strength and courage that takes, and doesn’t demand more of you when you’re drained.

If I had to sum your mission up in a few words it would be you are here simply to realize your own true nature. To drop illusions and self-concern. To lose your individuality for the sake of the whole, but to demand your partner and friends see you as an individual who heals the whole. You need healing, too.

It is when you learn to live from your heart that it opens up wider, allows you to send out universal love, and you become the peacemaker you’re meant to be. Others will follow that light and your example.

Namaste
