Liz and I released our first episode for January. I am linking it below on Spotify, but I believe you can listen wherever you get your podcasts. We dive deep into the collective year 8, as well as the relevant transits and human design for January 2024.

And afterward we decided we are going to do a giveaway!

Keep reading for more information!

In the second episode we are going to discuss the evolution of our calendar, and how the real New Year begins at the Spring equinox. It used to be celebrated most commonly on March 1st and March 25th, which just makes more sense intuitively.

So most of my resolutions will be enacted come March, including the launch of a mini book I’ve been working on. But I wanted to take a moment to talk about the pressure we can feel at this time of year to get our shit together, when we just aren’t really ready.

I want you to consider not falling under that pressure. To sit with yourself daily in meditation and flow. To listen to your soul and intuition. You’re never going to be late. You’re always going to be right on time. It’s not easy to embrace the duality of life authentically. It’s excruciatingly hard, and simultaneously nothing is more beautiful.

We have to learn that grief and gratitude can coexist. Listen, I’ve had a broken heart many times in my life. Felt the sting and pain of loss, rejection, feelings of unworthiness, but those do not define you. When you choose to live deeply you are choosing to live fully. You stop hiding from parts of life, and give your all to living life out loud and with integrity.

This year is about becoming soft and mighty. You do not have to choose one or the other. You simply embrace them both, and learn when and how to use them. You do this by learning who you are inside. Digging deep beneath the layers of pain and trauma to discover that you were what you were looking for all along.

The most powerful lessons this year will be priceless. In an 8 year we are learning to become the main character in our own lives. Figuring out what abundance means to us. Taking back our power. And every right decision is going to be rewarded more quickly.

It’s a Saturn ruled year in numerology and Saturn is in Pisces. I have said in the past Saturn in Pisces is about creating the inner discipline needed to change the outer reality you live in. Ask your heart what it really wants. Is it for the person you beg for bare minimum to change? Or is it that you want to build the strength to stop begging when you could command?

They have us thinking competition is everything, but everyone loses. This year I see more people collaborating. Especially as Pluto enters Aquarius. We are realizing that we can collaborate and raise everybody, rather than compete for a sense of being better than someone else.

For me, January 1st does not represent a New Year. The Sun goes into detriment next month. January is for more reflection. February is to cleanse the past away. March is when we are ready to sacrifice outdated versions of ourselves to pioneer something new. It’s Aries season. The season of the sacrificial lamb or ram.

And that is when we are ready to sacrifice the comforts of the old that are no longer sustaining us, in order to pioneer a new vision for ourselves. I have learned to fall in love with Aries through Liz. Watching her use self-awareness to navigate her Mars ruled energy has been amazing.

You ever wonder why we have an April Fool’s day? Many historians claim it dates to 1582, when France stopped using the Julian calendar, and switched to the Gregorian version we still used today. People who were slow or failed to recognize the moving of the New Year to January 1st continued to celebrate from March into April.

In order to cement the change to January 1st those who refused to adopt it were called fools and made fun of. Pranks were played on them to prove they were easily gullable. And it became too uncool and unaccepted to use the old version. God forbid the new allow the old to coexist.

I want you to consider the roots of the words September, October, and November. It just makes sense October is the 8th month (Octo) and not the tenth. It’s the number of the harvest and abundance, which October brings. Living on the solar calendar alone is learning to follow ego without soul.

They stole from us the natural rythms of the Earth and nature. Put us in a hustle culture with high-demand to perform. Where we compete to see who burns ourselves out quicker, rather than collaborate to make everyone’s lives easier, but that is changing.

I encourage you to listen to the episode we released today. It’s rich with the energy of January. We speak to current energy and how to align with it. This is about real personal power and not the illusion of it.

Next week I’m so excited to release episode two. This is a deep dive into the history of the calendar, and how women and men actually function on different cycles. We walk you through so much and teach you how to use the cycle you’re in to do your best work, or your best rest.

If you’re subcribed pay attention because in either episode three or four this month we are announcing a giveaway! We will be choosing two subscribers for free readings! Each winner will receive readings from me of their birth chart, and from Liz regarding their human design!

We are so super excited to offer this. Hope to see your information entered! We will reveal the winners in episode one of February! ❤

If you don’t want to wait for a chance at a free double reading, feel free to email me at alignedalchemy79@gmail.com. We can discuss what type of reading you need, my availability, and the cost.

Just as a reminder, we are raising money to help catch up our mortgage and some smaller bills. John and I are both facing health crisis right now. He hasn’t been able to work for weeks, as the main breadwinner, and my income doesn’t compensate for his. We appreciate all the help and support!
