Centaurs in the Chart
I feel so strongly that this information can help you, so I am once again going to put myself out there as an example. Last night I received a beautiful comment from someone who joined my private Facebook group. I don’t know if they would want to be acknowledged, so I will leave out the name.
Here is what was said:
Hello, I’m new here…first time poster. I’m looking forward to growing with all of you. Katrina, thank you for creating this space for us to learn how to live with purpose.. I am a follower of yours on Twitter and I am learning so much from you. Some of your experiences resonate so deeply with me. Your authentic transparency is inspiring, and the intuitive depth of your writings always leaves me wanting more. You definitely have a gift.
I want to encourage you to keep doing what you are doing. You are making a difference in the lives of your readers even if we are mostly silent. I thought you should know you are making a difference in mine. (End comment).
It took me aback and made my entire day. I have found that when I allow shame of the past to hold me back this leads to inauthenticity, but what sells is authenticity. I share my real life experiences because if they can help even one other person not feel so alone or ashamed it’s worth it to me.
