A Stitch in Time

Tomorrow morning we leave for a day trip. That’s what it is like to have a real partner. It’s what I mean by you have to learn to live in the flow. In January when a lot of us caught Covid we went with the flow. He and I were quarantined together watching Vikings and stealing kisses.

It was okay that I was worried about other family and friends who had it, while still enjoying my little week growing closer to my man. We are not one or the other. We are all emotions and feelings. As events take place we are going to experience both the good and the bad. We just have to allow it.

In February when my sister was going through the unfathomable he did not hesitate. He got his shoes on and took me to her. My life is a consistent series of unexpected events, twists, and turns, and he has never once made me feel like a burden to him. He thrives in it because he has Uranus conjunct AC.

He was born to be a family man. He tells me all the time that I consistently make him a better man, but he makes me a better woman, too. I have never known what it was like to have a real partner. Only that I was not settling for less ever again. And I am in no way settling in this relationship.

Our daughter is going through tremendous stress all at once. She has tried so hard, been so self-aware, disciplined, determined, and yet it’s all falling apart on her. My…
